EUROPEAN CURLING CHAMPIONSHIPS: Ostersund, SWE

The international competition continues with the European Curling Championships, starting in a little under two weeks’ time in Ostersund, Sweden. The event sees both A and B divisions competing from the 19th to the 20th of November.

England’s Men’s and Women’s teams will compete in the B-Division, being held in Ostersund Curling Club. Each year, the two top teams from the B-Division are promoted to the A-Division, with the bottom two being relegated to the C-Division (played for in April/May).

The Men’s side will see 16 teams playing in two sections, with England’s men meeting Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Wales. The nine women’s teams in addition to England are; Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
